Welcome to our Walking Tours page. This list was designed with you in mind.

Walking is the best way to experience Maputo up close while staying active and enjoying the health benefits that come with it.
If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll gladly customize a tour that fits your interests.
Each tour lasts up to three hours.

And if you have any health conditions or prefer to take things slow, just let us know in advance and we’ll make sure your experience is comfortable.

We advise wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, plus sunglasses and sun cream on sunny days.

Group tours

Join an open group to meet new poeple or book a private group for a more personal experience with family, friends, or colleagues

Barbecue moments

With a special request, we can organize a relaxing barbecue experience after your tour. Sundays only.

Every visitor matters

On our walking tours, numbers don’t matter, even if it’s just one person, we’ll go. Our pride lies in creating meaningful experiences, not counting participants.

Language assistance

If your group doesn’t speak Portuguese, English, French, or Spanish, we’ll do our best to arrange a translator to assist with communication during your walking tour

Art experience

On our Art Tours, you can become part of it. With a special request, we can arrange a painting or wood-carving workshop at the end of your tour, with a local artist.

Historical Downtown Tour

Starting from the city Cathedral, we’ll visit the most iconic highlights such as the City Hall, Franco-Moçambicano Cultural Centre, the Iron House by Gustave Eiffel, Tunduro Botanical Gardens, Central Market, Railway Station, Fortress, and more along the way. $35 per person, depending on the number of participants.

Architectural Tour

After doing this tour, you’ll never see Maputo the same way again. You can choose among three unique routes: Art Deco: You'll explore Maputo’s elegant Art Deco heritage, starting from Hotel Cardoso. Pancho Guedes: You'll discover the fascinating works of Pancho Guedes, one of the city’s most iconic architects. General Architecture: A broader exploration of Maputo’s architectural diversity, starting from Mundos Restaurant (opposite the South African Embassy on Eduardo Mondlane Avenue). From $35 per person, depending on the number of participants.

Art Tour

Experience a picturesque 3-hour walk along the riverbanks. Enjoy breathtaking views and tranquility for only $30.
