Chapa tours
Chapa is the local term used in Mozambique for public transport. Chapas can sometimes be crowded and exceed their intended capacity. In such situations, please don’t panic, this is part of everyday local life. While it may feel uncomfortable for some, remember that this experience is meant to give you a truly local and authentic perspective.
Xipamanine
We take a chapa to Xipamanine Market, where the guide leads a short walking tour through the market and surrounding area.
The experience ends with a return trip by chapa to the starting point at Josina Machel Secondary School.

Katembe
Starting at Anjo Voador terminal near the Fortress, we take a chapa to Katembe Beach.
Walk around the area and relax at a seaside restaurant (paid directly or arranged in advance).

Similar to the Xipamanine route, we travel by chapa to Xiquelene, explore the market and neighborhood,
